Congressman Buyer's office offers an internship program that provides students the opportunity to come to Washington and be a part of the working of the United States House of Representatives. Interns are an essential part of the office, assisting staff in the areas of legislative research, press, administrative support, and constituent services.

Interns can expect to spend part of their time helping with routine administrative duties and part of their time handling more extensive activities. There are also many other events that we encourage interns to take advantage of during their time here, such as attending hearings, classes, luncheons, taking tours, etc., while fulfilling the needs of the Congressional office.

Internships are offered in the Spring, Fall, Winter, and Summer sessions. If you are interested, please mail a cover letter and resume to our Washington, D.C. office.
