Report Water Waste |
Report Water WasteCall the Waste Water Hotline at 768-3640.
Water waste is any water, other than natural precipitation, that flows or sprays into a public right-of-way, city storm drain, or adjacent private property. Water waste is prohibited by the Water Conservation Landscaping and Water Waste Ordinance. All Water Utility water customers and all properties within the Albuquerque city limits are required to comply with Water Waste regulations. Complaints result in scheduled field inspections. Videotape documentation shows the actual source of the water as the waste occurs. Field inspections are more successful if you provide detailed information about the water waste. Necessary information includes address and the best day and time to observe the violation. Please include the source of the water if it is known. If you have difficulties with the form, please call the Water Waste Hotline at 768-3640 or E-mail waterwaste@cabq.gov with the information below. Another form of water waste that is regulated by Water Utility ordinance, is water served at restaurants. If you were served water at a restaurant, but didn't request it, you can report it using this form. |
