$100 Rebate to Participate

High-efficiency washers use approximately 25 gallons per load versus 40 to 50 gallons per load for older machines. The washing machine is the second biggest water-user in most households; only the toilets will use more water. The next washing machine you buy will have an enormous effect on the amount of water you'll use over the next 10 years. That's why the City will give you a $100 REBATE on your water bill when you buy a qualifying high-efficiency washing machine. With a high efficiency washer, you can:

  • Save Soap
  • Save Wear and Tear on Clothing
  • Save Drying Time
  • Save Energy
  • Save Money
  • Save Water

High-efficiency washing machines use half the water of traditional top loaders. And the continuous but gently tumbling action gets clothes cleaner without the wear and tear of an agitator.

To purchase one, see "Appliances-Major-New" in the Yellow Pages.

Here's How:

Fill out the Rebate Form and mail it with the original receipt to the address referenced on the form.
