Goal
The UMLS Webcasts give users the opportunity to learn more about the diverse products that make up the UMLS. Each Webcast is a 20-30 minute presentation, followed by a question-and-answer session.
Interface
NLM uses Adobe Connect® for Webcasting. The Adobe Flash Player plug-in for your web browser is required. This comes standard with most browser installations, but can be downloaded for free at http://www.adobe.com/. Captioning will be provided.
Attendance
You can sign up for a UMLS Webcast here. You will receive an e-mail the day before the Webcast containing the URL for the Webcast. Please enter the meeting room as 'Guest.' You will be able to ask questions via the chat window.
