In 2000, UW CES began moving toward a
nontraditional, team-based approach to educational program leadership.
The new leadership model revolves around five State
Initiative
Teams, which have the responsibility to assess
the needs of Wyoming citizens,
select and develop
programs to address the state's most critical extension
education issues, and organize subsequent statewide
training and educator
assistance. These State Initiative Teams are vital to the future of UW
CES programming.
