The USDA Forest Service, Kootenai National Forest, is committed to making its web sites accessible to all customers and employees. Document Accessibility
Most of the documents on our web server are in HTML format. This format is generally accessible to persons using assistive technology devices, such as screen reading software. We also have a number of documents as Adobe Acrobat PDF (Portable Document Format) files. Persons using screen reading devices generally cannot directly read documents in PDF format that were prepared in pre- Acrobat 5.0 software.

Adjusting Font Sizes
While most users will see the text on our site clearly, some will find the font size too large or too small. You can adjust the font size in your browser with a few easy steps.
You will see several menu choices along the top of most browsers (i.e., "user agents"); examples might include File, Edit, View and Help. Select "View" (or "Views") and you should be presented with additional choices, depending on your browser, such as "Zoom", "Zoom in", "Text Zoom", "Text Size", "Increase Font" or "Decrease Font". In some cases, another menu (cascading-menu) will appear. Use these options to select or adjust the font size that is right for you.
All people are welcome to use the National Forests.
