IRIS / ICT Project
Senate Bill 271 initiated the IRIS project during the 2003 legislative session. This bill approved replacing the Department of Revenue's current information system with a new commercial off-the-shelf system. The Integrated Revenue Information System (IRIS) is currently being configured to the department's business rules for the five tax types it will initially serve.
