HUD's
Office of Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity is not alone in its
fight to ensure that everyone, regardless of their race, national
origin, religion, sex, familial status, or disability, has access
to the housing of their choice. There are a number of public and
private not-for-profit agencies dedicated to creating racially and
economically integrated communities, including groups participating
in HUD's Fair Housing Initiatives Program (FHIP) and HUD's Fair
Housing Assistance Program (FHAP).
