Floyd, Orange, Perry, Scott and Spencer Counties to Receive Workforce Investment Act Funds: Money will be used for temporary employment program
(Washington, DC) - Congressman Baron Hill announced a grant today for Floyd, Orange, Perry, Scott and Spencer Counties. The U.S. Department of Labor has issued National Emergency Grant Funds through the Workforce Investment Act to 12 counties in Indiana, five of which are located in the Ninth Congressional District. The $720,000 grant will be administered by the Indiana Department of Workforce Development.
