Vendors and Suppliers
The secondary mortgage market is an ever-changing and demanding environment that calls for suppliers who maintain high-quality standards, are cost competitive and place a premium on customer service. Freddie Mac’s Procurement and Supplier Diversity focus on identifying qualified vendors who meet these standards. ProcurementProcurement manages Freddie Mac's centralized processes for the acquisition of products and services. Procurement works closely with Supplier Diversity and the company’s business areas to ensure that requirements are understood and the highest quality products and services are acquired at the most competitive prices from qualified suppliers. Supplier DiversityFreddie Mac's Supplier Diversity Program is designed to increase awareness of the capabilities, talents and importance of minority- and woman-owned businesses (M/WBEs) to Freddie Mac's ultimate success. Supplier Diversity is Freddie Mac's way of assuring that our suppliers reflect the diversity of the American workforce. Our objective is to ensure that minority- and woman-owned businesses receive the opportunity to compete fairly in all of the corporation's business dealings. Doing Business with Freddie MacIf you are interested in doing business with Freddie Mac, we want to learn more about your capabilities. Freddie Mac requires the completion of the online Vendor Information Questionnaire. This is the fastest and most efficient way for your information to get entered into our database as a potential supplier. If you are a M/WBE that provides real estate services please access Real Estate Services (HomeSteps Connect) and do not complete the Vendor Information Questionnaire. Although submitting the questionnaire doesn’t guarantee a contract, it does facilitate your future association with Freddie Mac. When we see that your products and services match our needs, we’ll forward your information to the buyers for appropriate departments. This promotes maximum exposure and allows your firm to be considered, whenever appropriate, on competitive bids.
