The inauguration of the President of the United States is an historical moment for our nation. This quadrennial event bespeaks the majesty and honor and tradition surrounding the Presidency.

I know many of you are interested in attending the inaugural swearing-in ceremony as well as other celebratory events, including inaugural balls. Unfortunately, tickets to the swearing-in ceremony on January 20 are already all gone. I cannot accept any more requests. I am so sorry. The number of people requesting tickets has far exceeded the number of tickets I will have to distribute. From the look of things I do not believe I will have enough tickets to cover everybody who has already called.
