"Innovation is the specific instrument of entrepreneurship-the act that endows resources with a new capacity to create wealth." -Peter F. Drucker
CRDF’s Partner Development Program (PDP) introduces local and international businesses to foreign-sourced innovations and science-business partnership opportunities that are critical to remaining globally competitive.
PDP offers U.S. business and technology communities access to a growing foreign network of S&T entrepreneurs . We also provide our Russian S&T entrepreneurs business linkages and mentorship necessary to present their innovations to CRDF-targeted U.S. businesses. CRDF's U.S. Business Advisory Board assists the organization with this mission. Its members are executives with a variety of S&T business development experience and includes investors, company owners and marketing and financial consultants.
Partner Development Business Linkages:
S&T entrepreneurs are competitively selected in regional CRDF-organized business training workshops and CRDF-managed U.S. travel visits based on an interactive U.S. business review of their readiness to enter the U.S. marketplace.
CRDF’s Science & Technology Entrepreneur Program (STEP) introduces local businesses and investors to innovation and seed new science-business partnerships that assist both local and international business to remain competitive. STEP training, events, and competitions assist scientists and engineers abroad to engage with business and industry. STEP activities create links between the research community and local businesses, establishing a market-driven R&D system that increases efficiency, introduces new products, and solves existing problems. The benefit of these joint ventures goes well beyond profit margins, as new technical jobs are created — jobs that meet the needs of the community and that grow in number as the consumer economy expands.
