Dear Thresholds Meeting Registrant:
The October 10-11 meeting on the Establishment of Resistance and Monitoring Thresholds in Food-Producing Animals has been postponed. The new dates are January 23-24, 2001. We are calling, communicating by E-mail, and issuing a Federal Register Notice of the change.
We heard from our stakeholders that they needed to have an outline of our thinking on concepts for the establishment of resistance and monitoring thresholds in food-producing animals well in advance of the October meeting in order to be fully prepared to provide and discuss the scientific input. Although we had committed to provide an outline of our thinking, it has become apparent that we will be unable to complete such a document sufficiently in advance of the meeting.
Please accept my apology for any inconvenience this postponement may cause you. The Federal Register Notice of the change will provide the details on registering for the January meeting.
