It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Southern Telecommunications Resource Center (TCRC) webpage.We are a community-based partnership among University of Missouri College of Agriculture, Delta Center Advisory Board, First State Bank and Trust Co., Inc. of Caruthersville, Focus Bank of Caruthersville and University of Missouri Extension. The Southern TCRC is designed to bring distance learning through interactive video (ITV), Internet, satellite and computer training to the Bootheel region.
  • Further your education through the University of Missouri by attending classes at the Portageville TCRC
  • Post-secondary degrees and certificates offered by Three Rivers Community College, University of Missouri Columbia, University of Missouri St. Louis and Arkansas State University
  • Classes toward Associate of Arts and Applied Science degrees as well as various certificates through Three Rivers Community College
  • Various computer courses, including Microsoft Office 2003 and 2007, are offered to the public periodically through the year
  • Continuing education for professionals is available from a wide variety of resources such as the Office of the State Courts and University of Missouri Extension
  • Free Internet access to the public during office hours (individuals using the Internet access will be asked to sign a usage agreement)
  • Video conferencing for businesses, organizations and individuals

    The Southern TCRC belongs to the public; the staff and I will strive to meet your needs. We are happy to show the citizens of the region what a wonderful facility we have waiting for their use.
