RSS/XML headlines
DeseretNews.com offers several headline lists in RSS 2.0 format free of charge. These lists contain headlines of specific subjects, story summaries and a link to the full article.
To use the RSS files you will need to install a stand-alone news reader application or use an online news reader. There are many available and can easily be found with an Internet search for "RSS readers". Some Web browsers (Internet Explorer 7, Mozilla Firefox, Safari on OSX 10.4, Opera and others) have built in support for RSS. Wikipedia has a page with more information on RSS.
Feeds are usually added to a reader or aggregator by right-clicking on a link to the RSS file, copying the link location and then pasting the URL to the appropriate location of the reader application. RSS aware Web browsers usually have a toolbar button which appears when displaying a page with an associated RSS file.
