Campbell Appoints New Chief of Staff and Communications Director

U.S. Rep. John Campbell (CA-48) today announced two key staff changes in his Washington, D.C. office.

Muffy Lewis has been hired as Chief of Staff in Campbell’s Washington, D.C. office.  She will oversee both the D.C. and the Newport Beach offices.  Lewis, a former Legislative Director in the personal office of Foreign Affairs Committee Ranking Member Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL), returns to Capitol Hill after serving as Director of Development for the Institute for the Psychological Sciences.  Lewis holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Spanish from Boston College, and a Master of Arts Degree in Counseling from Franciscan University of Steubenville.  Lewis is from Miami, Florida.

Campbell also announced the promotion of Legislative Assistant Brent Hall to Communications Director & Legislative Assistant.  Hall has served in Representative Campbell’s Office since 2007, and will continue to advise him on policy issues relating to international relations, military issues, homeland security, and immigration enforcement.  Hall holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Tennessee, in Political Science and History and is currently working on his Master’s degree, taking courses at the U.S. Naval War College. Hall is from Laguna Niguel, California.
