Additional Information

Course is not available in all states, check drop down list
on registration screen for availability.

All BoatU.S. study materials are free of charge and are accessible for online viewing or download at any time. Upon successful completion of the final exam, you may print your Certificate of Completion on your printer at no charge. This certificate is accepted as proof of course completion by the states that accept the course. Certain states require that a copy of your certificate be mailed to the state’s boating agency for processing and issuance of a permanent state boating card. States may charge for this service. For more information on costs and procedures to obtain a state-issued boating card, please visit your state's boating webpage.

If you prefer, you may choose to have an optional paper copy mailed to you for a $5 fee. The mailed certificate is printed on certificate stock and is suitable for framing, but otherwise is no different than the free print-at-home version, and it is not the same card that is issued by the state.

Be sure to check the regulations in your state before proceeding.
