Services Tools Bundle (STB) is a collection of Sun tools, including Explorer, Light Weight Availability Collection Tool (LWAC),
Secure File Transport, Serial Number in EEPROM and Service Tags. Sun Support Services customers are actively encouraged to deploy
STB on their Sun Solaris systems. STB is a self-extracting installer bundle supporting all Sun standard operating systems and architectures.

SunVTS tests and validates Sun hardware by verifying the connectivity and functionality of processors, memory, interconnects, hardware devices, controllers and peripherals. SunVTS is offered both as regular disk installs as well as x64 bootable CD and DVD (which can be run on Sun X64 non-Solaris OS systems). The SunVTS bootable CD ships with most Sun X64 systems.

Sun Installation Assistant (SIA) helps users install supported Linux (Red Hat and SUSE) and Microsoft Windows operating systems on Sun x64 servers and automates firmware updates on some servers. A licensed copy of Linux or Windows OS distribution media supported for server is required. All Sun software and required server-specific drivers are supplied by SIA. The SIA CD ships with X64 products, but can also be downloaded.

Self-boot operating system bypasses installed OS for ease of use across multiple OS's. PC-Check is included on the Tools and Drivers CD.
