We are proud to announce the new editor of the The Electronic Journal of Science Education -- Dr. Michael Kamen, Southwestern University. The transitioning of the journal to Southwestern University is underway. Please contact him for information regarding future submissions.

We would like to sincerely thank Dr. Kamen for assuming this responsibility. Under his leadership, the EJSE has already made strides to take the journal to the next level in electronic publishing. The mission, however, of the EJSE will remain: to continue to bring contemporary issues and topics within the field of science education and research to light for its readers for no cost and in a timely manner.

Volumes 8 - 10, unfortunately, are still in press as of this date. Volume 11 (September 2006) will be the first publication under Dr. Kamen's editorship. Please check back to learn of the new Electronic Journal of Science Education website.

"Thank you" does not nearly express the appreciation we have for our readers. With bold new adventures, as the EJSE was in 1996, we were not sure how the new publishing medium would be accepted. Again, all we can say is thank you for all of your support in the past and in the future.
