As a result of changes in the National Nuclear Security Administration’s Meal Policy, the Laboratory will no longer be able to provide funding for service anniversary and retirement recognition events, effective October 1, 2008.
LANL service credit, except for work on casual status, is taken into account when determining eligibility for service awards recognition.
Employees will be notified of their award via e-mail on their anniversary date. At that time, the employee will be directed to the MC Fina web site to make a gift selection. Employees who feel they should have celebrated a service anniversary but who did not receive a notification need to email serviceawards@lanl.gov to initiate research into the correct service date.
Recognition and service gifts are based on years of service according to the following graduated schedule:
LANL Service | Recognition | Gifts |
---|---|---|
5 years | Online recognition, with brief mention in Currents or Links publication | |
10 years | Online recognition, with brief mention in Currents or Links publication | LANL Pin & Certificate 10-Year Gift Selection |
