We launched our website on July 1, 1997. We were so proud of our innovative ways. But face it, what was once a novelty is now a necessity. The rapid advance of the internet has spoiled us all: we want as much information as possible in nanoseconds. As our virtual world shrinks, we daily find new applications, new and better ways to assemble data in both quality and quantity to an extent unimaginable even at the time we ventured out on to the web.

Mayfield Village still strives to stay small but think big. We are a “village” (by law, less than 5,000 residents) in the best sense. We continue to develop our economic base, sustain our public schools, respect and restore our environment and generally keep our shirtsleeves rolled up to provide reliable and personable government. In many respects, we have patterned the master plan for our village much as a university campus, developing a stimulating environment that promotes a uniquely enriching quality of life. Stay tuned.
