UPDATE: Flooding Warning Extended Along Escambia River Through Feb. 19

Monday, February 11, 2013 - 1:00pm

The National Weather Service in Mobile has extended the flood warning for portions of Escambia River near the Town of Century through Tuesday, February 19. At 3 p.m. Thursday, February 14, the stage is at 17.7 feet. Flood stage for the Escambia River is at 17 feet. The river is expected to continue to rise to approximately 18.2 feet by Friday.

Escambia County Animal Shelter Now Accepting Donations Online

The Escambia County Animal Shelter is now accepting online donations to help offset the care and feeding of animals under their care. To donate, simply click the “Donate” link on our Animal Services to open a page on PayPal.com where you can donate using either a PayPal account or a major credit card. After completing the transaction, PayPal will e-mail you a receipt for the donation.
