The National Weather Service in Mobile has extended the flood warning for portions of Escambia River near the Town of Century through Tuesday, February 19. At 3 p.m. Thursday, February 14, the stage is at 17.7 feet. Flood stage for the Escambia River is at 17 feet. The river is expected to continue to rise to approximately 18.2 feet by Friday.
Some Escambia County government offices will be closed in observance of the President's Day holiday on Monday, February 18.
