Federal Agencies Work Group |
The Lake Champlain Basin Program (LCBP) Federal Agencies Work Group was established in October 2001 to facilitate implementation of priority actions identified in Opportunities for Action: An evolving plan for the future of the Lake Champlain Basin. The Work Group's mission and activities are defined by a Memorandum of Understanding. Membership is open to all Federal agencies conducting or funding work in the Basin that supports the Opportunities for Action. The Work Group serves as a forum and mechanism for coordination, cooperation, and collaboration in bringing Federal resources and capability to the LCBP. The Work Group is a subcommittee of the LCBP Steering Committee and meets quarterly to: assess future work that each agency plans to conduct in the basin, identify and review potential collaborative opportunities, coordinate with the LCBP budget process, and develop an annual strategy summary Federal Actions and Opportunities describing each agency's accomplishments and opportunities for collaborative work in the upcoming year. |
