Iowa Water Center

Welcome to the Iowa Water Center

The Iowa Water Center is a part of a nationwide network of university-based water centers authorized by the 1964 federal Water Resources Act which called for the creation of state
water resources institutes to be located at land grant colleges.

In addition to information about the Iowa Water Center, this site also includes news about
Center activities and serves as a link to a variety of other state and national water-related
events, opportunities, and information.

Our "Resources" section is being developed to include an expert directory, fact sheets, and a bibliography of Iowa related water research publications.

Please let us know if there are other items you would like to see included. The "Bulletin Board" (at right) highlights important news and upcoming events. Check in often!
