Office of the Provost
As the Chief Academic Officer the provost provides leadership in curriculum and program development, advances the teaching and learning environment, promotes creative and scholarly activities including research and outreach, and provides overall academic leadership of strategic planning, involvement in economic development and community relations. In addition to the schools and colleges the following divisions also report to the provost; university libraries, student support services, records, university assessment, testing, land grant programs, sponsored research, institutional research, continuing education, university art gallery, international programs, Title III and Trio programs.
