Metrology Laboratory Services

Our metrology laboratory and the state metrologist are fully ISO 17025 compliant and certified by the National Institute of Standards and Technology. The metrologist is directed to keep under security the state standards for determining mass and volume. The certified weights and volume measures used by the weights and measures inspectors must be checked to maintain their accuracy for the inspection and testing of various scales and meters. As a service, the metrologist certifies equipment of the registered service agencies and private industry
