AITC 2009 Literacy Event

AITC's Literacy Project helps improve both the literacy of Oregon's young readers and their knowledge of agriculture. This year's book is Apples to Oregon by local author Deborah Hopkinson. It's a perfect fit for celebrating our state's 150th birthday and the delightful illustrations are sure to capture the imaginations of students of all ages. Learn how to bring this program to your school or be a volunteer.

Calendar Contest 2008-2009

The contest is open to students in grades K-6. Student's original artwork should feature Oregon Agriculture. Students are encouraged to use a lot of creativity and color. $50 savings bonds will be awarded to the 13 students whose artwork is selected for the 2009-2010 calendar.

40 Honorable Mention Artworks from students across Oregon, 2008-2009
