Welcome to the Homepage for ENT 5211, Insect Pest Management.
This course is taught entirely ONLINE, there are no classroom
meetings or laboratories. |

Topics for each week are listed in the
Course Syllabus. Required
readings will be from a Cambridge University Press IPM textbook
presently in preparation, editors Edward B. Radcliffe, William
D.Hutchison & Rafael E. Cancelado (anticipated date of publication
Summer 2008). Supplemental reading assignments will be from online
sources. Chief of these will be
Radcliffes's IPM World Textbook.
Detailed description of each week's activities will be posted to
Assignments.
Additional recommended readings for each class unit will all be accessible online
from The University of Minnesota Libraries
E-RESERVE,
the PDF Library linked to the
Course Assignments menu, or other sites on the WWW. Class members will
participate in a scheduled interactive online discussion once each week, from
ther first week of September to mid-December. Further details
will be posted in summer 2008. You
will be required to complete 12 "weekly" written assignment ("quizzes").
When completed these assignments are to be submitted to
E.B. Radcliffe by e-mail. |
