Huhiroa (flax weaving cultivar)

Māori are the indigenous people (tangata whenua) of New Zealand, and we respect the value of their traditional knowledge. We have a long track record of working with Māori, and currently have several programmes with and for various iwi. We are custodians of the national harakeke (New Zealand flax) and tī kōuka (cabbage tree) collections at Lincoln.
