New Zealand terrestrial molluscs

Introduction

Current research projects focus on indigenous and introduced terrestrial molluscs of New Zealand and the Pacific Islands, in order to develop an understanding of the phylogenetic and biogeographic relationships, evolutionary biology, and functional ecology of faunas and communities. Our research aims to provide a better understanding of biodiversity patterns and processes, the biological roles of molluscs in terrestrial environments, and the conservation status of species and communities.
