The
deadline day for submission of
hunt permit-tag applications for fall 2009
hunts for elk and pronghorn antelope is
Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2009. The regulation booklet containing season dates, hunt areas, permit numbers, draw information, and other rules is available for download from this web by clicking the link below. Printed copies of the regulations will be available from all department offices and license dealers no later than the second full week in January 2009.

Notice: Online draw application service is not available. The application form PDF above can be filled out using a computer and keyboard but must be printed, signed and submitted by mail or delivery to any department office. The form can also be printed and filled out using an ink pen. Remember, the online application process has been indefinitely suspended and only paper applications can be used to enter the draw.
2009 Spring Draw Result - Leftover Permits are Available Now!
The deadline to submit applications for 2009 spring turkey, javelina, buffalo and bear was Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2008. Draw results are now available by clicking here. To view results, you'll need to provide your Sportsman's ID (for most people, this is their Social Security Number) and your date of birth. Results are also available by telephone at (602) 942-3000.
If you were unsuccessful in the draw or didn't originally apply, you can now apply for a leftover permit. Applications for leftover permits for spring javelina, turkey and bear are accepted beginning Monday, Dec. 1, 2008 by U.S. Mail only. Permits are not available at department offices - you must apply by mail. View the list of leftover permits by clicking the link below. More than 5,000 javelina permits and 24 archery-only bear permits are currently available.

Arizona Big Game Super Raffle - 2009 Tickets are Available NOW!
Here’s
your chance to hunt big game trophies in
Arizona and the price is right! The Arizona
Game and Fish Commission, in cooperation
with various state and national sportsmen’s
groups, sponsors an annual raffle. One tag for 10 different
big game species will be drawn in the raffle.
Tickets range in price from $5 - $25, depending on the species. Every dollar raised through ticket sales of each species goes directly toward management projects that benefit that species in Arizona. Click here to purchase tickets for the 2009 Super Raffle.

Draw and License Information
The
department has indefinitely suspended the
option to apply for big game hunt permit-tags
online and to purchase hunting and fishing
licenses online or by telephone. Paper applications
must be submitted by mail or dropped off
at a department office for all big game
hunt permit-tag draws. Applications can
be found at all license dealers or by downloading
a copy from the link found on the right
hand column of this web page. License can
be purchased from more than 300 license
