As a land-grant university, The University of Massachusetts, Amherst has a long history of supporting agriculture within the Commonwealth. The Center for Agriculture brings together agricultural programs from UMass Extension, the College of Natural Resources and the Environment, and the Massachusetts Agricultural Experiment Station. The purpose of the Center for Agriculture is to serve as a portal through which individuals, industries, and agencies can connect with scientists and educators. Simply put, The Center for Agriculture provides access to all of the expertise within the agricultural programs of the university.
