Information and forms for Vegetable Production EQIP Program checklist



1. View current programs available for Vegetable Production. Please see above link. 

2. Determine which IPM practices qualify for this years programs

3. Fill out NRCS CPA 1200 & supplement for NRCS IPM standard (595)
(When filling out your form, make sure to check off boxes for AMA and EQIP)

4. Consider signing up for other practices in addition to 595
Other Practices include the following:
Cover Crop - 340
Fences - 382
Irrigation - 441
Windbreaks - 380
Ag Chemical Facilities (Spray Sheds) - 702
Obstruction Removal - 500
Conservation Cover - 327

5.Take the completed CPA 1200, a list of 595 & non 595 pracitces to your local NRCS office

6.NRCS will evaluate the applications and notify succesful applicants

7. The local NRCS person will visit the grower to negotiate a detailed "plan" for the specialty farm

8. Final ranking is made
