Rogers joined the Noble Foundation as a pasture & range specialist in 2002. He provides consultation in forage selection and establishment, grazing management, stocking rate, forage production and management and serves as the NF-3 team manager. His research interests include tall fescue management, short season niche forages and grazing management. He is a member of the American Forage and Grasslands Council, the American Society of Agronomy and the Society for Range Management.

Rogers came to the Noble Foundation from Sedalia, Mo., where he was a livestock specialist with University of Missouri Outreach and Extension for 10 years. His work in Missouri dealt with grazing systems to enhance both forage and livestock performance.

A native of upstate South Carolina, Rogers was raised on a beef cattle and row crop farm.
