Application kit

The free booklet Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program for Skilled Workers: Application Guide and Forms explains the program's eligibility criteria and provides detailed instructions on how to complete the forms you are required to submit with your MPNP application. After you arrive in Manitoba: Apply for these government documents

  • Social Insurance Number (SIN)
    You need this government identification to start a job and for other ID purposes. Go to a Service Canada office or visit their website.
  • Manitoba Health Card
    From the day you arrive as a permanent resident your health services are paid by the Manitoba government. But you must have a health card. Visit the Manitoba Health website to learn how to apply.
