Welcome to the Texas Angora Goat Raisers' Association (TAGRA) website. For over 80 years TAGRA has offered the finest of registered Texas Angora breeding stock at our annual show and sale. Our Association is dedicated to promoting both mohair and the continued improvement of the Angora breed. We believe that our members produce some of the best mohair and finest specimens of the Angora breed to be found in the world.

Our major project each year is the annual Texas Angora Goat Raisers' show and sale held every July in Junction, Texas. If you are interested in some of the best Angora breeding stock that can be purchased in Texas, don't miss this year's event.  If you live outside of Texas and are planning to attend our sale and purchase breeding stock, please be aware that any necessary health papers to take goats purchased at the sale to another state, will be the responsibility of the buyer.  Also if you plan to enter the open TAGRA show and are an out-of-state resident, please be advised that all necessary health certificates for the stock to enter Texas are also your responsibility and not that of TAGRA.  For further information on animal health requirements for entry into Texas, please contact the Texas Animal Health Commission at 800-550-8242.  If you live outside Texas and are planning to bring goats to our event, please notify us as soon as possible.
