During your employment at LANL, you may incur a change in appointment or a status change. Not all appointment/status changes will affect your benefits. Your benefits are determined by your Benefits Eligibility Level Indicator (BELI) code (pdf) .
When you have an appointment/status change, contact the Lab's Benefits Office at 505-667-1806 to determine if your BELI code has changed and if so, how it affects your benefits. Changes to benefits due to any status change must be completed within 31 days of the event.
