Jeremy grew up on a farm in east-central Minnesota and went on to get a degree from St. Cloud State University in Computer Science. He worked as an engineer at Honeywell for nearly two decades building and testing aircraft navigation and support equipment in the Minneapolis area. He couldn't keep his hands off farming, though. During his tenure at Honeywell, he co-owned a hog farm in southeastern Minnesota before becoming convinced that commodity farming was for the pigs. He now runs a certified organic farm in Pope County with his wife and children.
