Invasive Plants in Connecticut

NRCS works with partners from other agencies and organizations to share information, provide education, and achieve goals relating to invasive plant management. Some of USDA's programs implemented by NRCS provide technical and financial assistance for land practices that can help control invasive plants. For example, on sites throughout Connecticut, the Wildlife Habitat Incentives Program supports invasive plant management projects on private and public lands. NRCS in Connecticut offers workshops on invasive plant awareness, management and field identification for towns, land trusts, and other interested groups.
