- Environmental Pathways
Environmental Pathways -- Youth Investigating Pollution Issues in
Illinois is a free packet of materials including a teacher's guide,
posters for display in the classroom, and information on the statewide
poster and poetry/prose exhibition. The Environmental Pathways
packet was designed to meet the North American Association for Environmental
Education's Guidelines for Excellence. It is correlated to the Illinois
Learning Standards.
- Green Youth Awards
The Green Youth Award is an annual awards program sponsored by the Illinois
Environmental Protection Agency. The program recognizes the outstanding
and innovative efforts of youth in Illinois who are working on environmental
protection and conservation projects.
- Poster, Poetry, and Prose Exhibit
Each year, Illinois students create posters, poems or prose works to
illustrate what they have learned in the Illinois EPA's environmental
education program. Learn about this year's exhibit, and see the results
from previous years.

Assistance Program
Educators and non-profit organizations can receive funding for inland
lake/lake watershed educational activities.

- The Secret Agent Worms: A Soil and Water Adventure
Join Jane Blonde (Agent 009) and her partner Napoleon Soil (001) as they explore
the world of storm sewers, soil, lakes, and rivers. The Secret Agent Worm
website includes an exciting, interactive game, “Rocket and Roll,” in
which you must rescue Jane before she is blasted off into space by diabolical
M.U.D. agents. So dig in and have fun!
