Comprehensive Shoreland Protection Act Workshop
(07:30 AM - 04:00 PM)

This workshop, sponsored by the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services, addresses the changes to the Comprehensive Shoreland Protection Act, and coastal issues specific to the New Hampshire's Seacoast Region. This is an opportunity to learn about the new permitting requirements, how to control stormwater runoff from your property, and how to stabilize and restore shorelines. DES staff and professionals from across the state will conduct the presentations. Several vendors including, manufacturers and retailers of pervious surfaces, non-profit organizations, nurseries, landscapers and DES programs will have displays.

Monadnock Region Land Summit

A day-long gathering of community leaders from the Monadnock Region discussing ways to conserve the special places and natural areas that contribute to their towns' distinctive character and quality of life.

 Join other local leaders (members of select boards, conservation commissions, budget committees, open space committees, and interested citizens) to discuss strategies for retaining the rural character while accommodating the growth needs of your community. Workshops and focus discussions will cover key components of successful land conservation at the community level and emphasize the real-world experiences of our towns.
