This book group is held in conjunction with story/activity hour at the library, so please feel free to bring younger children? Each month stands on its own, so come to one, or come to all, your choice!!
To many people, the idea of negotiating with children sounds crazy. But in fact, we all negotiate. Telling our kids what to do is just one form of negotiating. It is one move in a negotiation that we will have for the next 50 years. Every argument and every punishmentforms part of our relationship. Not everything is negotiable. Health issues, safety issues, morals, family values-these are matters that parents must decide. The circle of non-negotiable issues shrinks as children grow, until by the time they are teenagers, very little is non-negotiable.
Location
Strafford & Rockingham Counties - All 4-H members are encouraged to participate. Be creative, have fun, plan with your club or friends what to do, be curious, try something new & then come and share it with everyone on the 14th.
