iPads for Learning program

The iPads for Learning initiative is a trial program by Academic Computing Services (ACS) and the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) to provide iPads for use in academic classes or workshops. iPads are available for learning and teaching opportunites and faculty can submit proposals for short-term usage (workshops) or for as long as a quarter.

Winter Break 2012 Equipment Checkouts

The Meyer Tech Desk will NOT be checking out equipment for the duration of Winter Closure (12/14/12-1/7/13). All equipment will be expected to be turned in by Friday, December 14th, by 5:00PM. In order to account for all pieces of equipment, we will be conducting inventory over the break. Your patience and cooperation is appreciated. Have a great break!
RCC Hiring Starts Soon!

Academic Computing and Residential Education will soon be hiring RCCs (Residential Computer Consultants) for the '13-'14 academic year. Applications open on January 7, 2013!  Learn more about the job, perks, and expectations if you think you might be a good RCC next year.
New Equipment at Meyer Tech Desk

The Tech Desk at Meyer Library has added some new equipment, such as a Wacom Intuos5 tablet, new iPads and some specialized Canon lenses. The Macbook Pros have also been refreshed, and are now running OS 10.7.5 (Lion). Please visit the Equipment List for more information about the equipment at the Tech Desk.
ACOMP Web Page Downtime

The ACOMP Drupal instance will be down for maintenance on Saturday, June 2nd from 7am to 8am for maintenance.  We expect downtime to be minimal while we perform an update.  Thank you for your patience.
