A draft technical report,
Using Social Sciences Information in Rapid Watershed Assessments,
has been released. This report places Social Sciences Team
products in the context of the Rapid Watershed Assessment process.
The report also provides guidance for when and how to use social
science tools and methods to optimize community involvement and
input in the Rapid Watershed Assessments.

The Social Sciences Team, in conjunction with the Human Capital Strategic Planning Team, conducted an all-employee web survey on Human Capital. View the results of the survey at this web site. The survey ran from December 5 to December 20, 2005. 7,754
people responded to the survey, which represents 65% of the NRCS workforce. The findings are captured in several ways: an Executive Summary, PowerPoint, the survey questions along with percentage of respondents in each category, excel spread sheets that analyze a few variables, and word files with the respondent's unedited responses to open ended questions.
