Student Organization Development
The Student Organization Development program in the Center for Student Involvement
encourages and supports the development of all students through participation
in clubs and organizations. Student organizations provide unparalleled opportunities
for experiential learning outside the classroom. Student organization programs
and resources promote leadership, diversity, critical thinking, creativity, social
interaction and community for members of organizations and those who attend programs.
Student organizations are a vital part of Oregon State University, creating
a rich community of diversity. Approximately three hundred OSU recognized student organizations
with varying thoughts, activities, goals and experiences build a foundation
for community service, cultural expression, activism, civil discourse, free
speech, academic achievement and professional development.
The Student Organization Development program is here to help organizations
with advising, training and development, activity and event planning, organization
registration, and leadership resources. For additional information contact
us at 541-737-2101 or send an email to student.organizations@oregonstate.edu.
