Headline list: Our headline list means you can feature the latest Purdue Agriculture news on your Web site. Simply add one line of code to your site and our RSS feeds will appear on your page. To use the headline list, simply paste the following script on your Web site's code where you want the feed to appear.
- RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. It's is an, easy way for you to receive up-to-date news about topics that interest you without the hassle of spam messages. Instead of visiting several Web sites every day the sites send information directly to you, on topics you indicate. RSS feeds usually contain article headlines, summaries and links back to the full-text article.
- To receive RSS feeds you need a program known as a "news reader" or "aggregator." The program displays RSS feeds from Web sites you select. Many of these RSS readers are available, some free of charge. There are also Web-based news readers. To find a reader, search for "RSS reader" or "RSS aggregator" in the search engine of your choice.
- To sign up for RSS feeds from Purdue Agriculture, select the topic(s) that interest you from the list at the top of this page. Click on the XML button and follow the instructions in your particular news reader.
