Lewiston - Ammunition maker ATK Armament Systems won a four-year, $14 million contract to supply French police with bullets. ATK is the third-largest manufacturing employer in Lewiston and will supply 250,000 French police with ammunition. Company spokeswoman Amanda Covington said the plant will hire more workers.

Boise - More families will soon be eligible for a supplemental nutrition program for Women, Infants and Children under new state income guidelines. The program provides nutritional foods at no cost to women who are pregnant, breast-feeding or have recently been pregnant, and families with children under 5. New guidelines will include families with a gross income up to 185% of the federal poverty rate.
