FRPP Cumulative Easement Information

The following maps display information on Farm and Ranch Lands Protection Program (FRPP) cumulative parcels and acres enrolled for the life of the Program.

This voluntary program provides landowners financial incentives and technical assistance to protect working farm and ranches with productive soils from non-agricultural development. Through FRPP, the Natural Resources Conservation Service provides financial assistance to landowners through cooperating entities (state, local, and Tribal governments and non-government organizations) to purchase development rights on working farms and ranches. From FY-1996 through FY-2007, NRCS has enrolled 2,764 parcels covering more than 533,068 acres into the program. Click on each map's data link for detailed information.
