Records Management Assistance
NARA provides advice and assistance to agency records officers in scheduling records, applying records schedules, and other records disposition matters. NARA also provides assistance on records creation, files maintenance, use of microfilm, optical disk technology, developing training programs, and vital records management.
NARA will work with agencies on specific records management projects through the Targeted Assistance Initiative.
