With the festive season upon us for another year, the Australian Bureau of Statistics has released some interesting Christmas facts and figures. Please note there will be no new products released onto the ABS website between 25 December 2008 and 2 January 2009 inclusive due to a close-down over the Christmas period. Normal dissemination procedures will recommence from 5 January 2009.
The National Information and Referral Service (NIRS) will be closed for operation from 12:00 pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (A.E.S.T) on 24 December 2008 and will reopen at 9:00 am (A.E.S.T.) on 5 January 2009.
